ABU Zaria General Cut-Off Mark 2024/2025
This is the minimum score that a student must achieve to be admitted to a school. If your score falls below a school’s cut-off mark, you won’t be able to register for their Post-UTME, which means you won’t be admitted to that school. Even if your score is 179, you will not be able to register for the ABU Zaria screening exercise/post-utme because their general cut-off mark is 180.
Each school is free to set its own cut-off Mark. They are, however, unable to impose a cut-off mark lower than the JAMB minimum.
ABU Zaria Departmental Cut-off Mark 2024/2025
The departmental cut-off mark is the minimum score required for admission to a school’s course or department. ABU Zaria, for example, has a general cut-off mark of 180, but individual cut-off marks of 200, 190, and 190 for Pharmacy, Engineering, and Computer Science respectively. Below are courses offered at the university as well as their Cut-off marks;
220 – 240 – Medicine (O’ Level result with one sitting only) and Nursing
200 – Mass Communication, Common Law, Pharmacy, Anatomy, Physiology
190 – Computer Science, English Language, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Geology, all engineering courses except Agricultural and Biosystem Engineering.
180 – All other courses
Candidates MUST meet the minimum UTME scores for their chosen courses, have the right UTME subject combinations as prescribed in the JAMB Brochure, and have the requisite ‘O’ Level subjects at credit level.
Documents required for the pre-screening exercise are SSCE result and JAMB registration printout only.
